I
cannot
remember
my
handle
or
password...now
what? |
| |
It's
very
easy to
obtain
your
handle
and
password.
On the
main
logon
page, click
on
"forgot
password".
You have
the
option
to
submit
your
registered
e-mail
address
on a
very
easy to
use
form. We
will
then
send you
your
handle
and
password
to the
e-mail
address
you
provided
us when
registering.
You
should
receive
this
e-mail
message
(at the
inbox of
your
"real"
e-mail
address),
with
your
handle
and
password,
within
minutes
of your
request,
if not
sooner.
"I
tried
that. It
still
doesn't
work!"
After
requesting
your
handle
and
password,
if you
do not
receive
an
e-mail
message
from us,
one of a
few
things
may have
happened:
-
You
have
provided
us
with
a
bad
or
bogus
e-mail
address
during
the
registration
process.
In
this
instance,
we
cannot
help
you.
-
Your
ISP
(AOL
for
instance)
has
e-mail
blocking
features
set
to
block
e-mail
from
unknown
senders.
You
will
need
to
un-block
any
e-mail
coming
from
the
HIVnet.com
domain
name.
Check
your
spam
folder
also
for
email
from
HIVnet.com
"It
keeps
saying
my email
isn't
found in
the
system!"
When
using
the
form, if
it
returns
an error
indicating
that
your
email
can't be
found or
that
e-mail
address,
only
three
things
could
have
happened:
-
You
don't
have
an
account
on
HIVnet.com.
In
this
case,
click
the
join
button
and
sign
up
for
a
new
account.
-
You
have
provided
us
with
a
bad
or
bogus
e-mail
address
during
your
previous
registration
process.
In
this
instance,
we
cannot
help
you.
-
You
have
either
deleted,
or
requested
we
delete
your
old
account
(with
this
email
address).
When
accounts
are
deleted,
we
block
your
email
address
for
security
reasons.
You
can
re-instate
this
account
by
emailing
us
your
old
member
name
and
password,
or
you
can
click
the
reinstate
my
account
link,
or
if
you
like
you
can
sign
up
using
a
different
username
and
different
email
address.
Just
click
on
the
"restore
account"
link
on
the
homepage.
